COMMERCIAL LOCATION SCOUT & MANAGER
Over the past 24 years I have been privileged to lead projects with top Agencies and Directors on Commercial and New Media campaigns for national and international clientele. Working closely with the Director, Producer and Production team, I guide the visual experience of Locations in order to achieve a successful project. I provide superior service and go above and beyond expectations to contribute as a team player. I am well versed in commercial, residential, city and state agencies to ensure that the tools and talents are in place to realize all creative objectives by using my artistic and business abilities to their fullest.

What is a Location Scout/Manager?
LOCATION SCOUT:
Role:
Finds locations that match the script's vision and the director's concept, often working with the director, production designer, and producer.
Responsibilities:
Research potential locations, take photographs, document findings, and communicate with property owners and local authorities.
Key Skills:
Research, strong communication, and attention to detail.
Example Tasks:
Visiting potential sites, taking photos, securing permits, and making recommendations to the production team.
LOCATION MANAGER:
Role:
Oversees the entire location process, from scouting to post-production, acting as the liaison between the production team and the outside world.
Responsibilities:
Secures locations, negotiates deals, arranges permits, manages logistics (transportation, parking, etc.), and ensures the location is returned to its original condition after filming.
Key Skills:
Negotiation, organization, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
Example Tasks:
Obtaining permits, coordinating with local authorities, managing the location budget, and dealing with any issues that arise during production.
